There was a time in my life when I felt deeply burned out by the stress and pressure of modern society. In search of rest, healing, and renewed strength, I began spending long days in nature—walking through parks, forests, nature reserves, and the wilderness.
What I discovered there was profoundly healing. The beauty, peace, and stillness of nature became an important part of my recovery and restoration.
That experience inspired me to start capturing these moments through photography and eventually led to the creation of Paradise Canvas Prints.

David John Sörensen is an award-winning artist from Belgium, Europe. In 2016, he immigrated with his family to the United States. He was granted the very rare permanent visa for “Extraordinary Ability” for his role in transforming the Christian art industry worldwide with his art collection.
David has always loved nature and found deep personal healing through photographing nature during a period of burnout in 2005. Spending time surrounded by natural beauty had a profoundly refreshing and restorative effect on his mind and body.
From that personal experience grew the desire to allow other people to enjoy the same beauty in their lives. He believes that we were never meant to spend our lives in concrete buildings, surrounded by lifeless ugliness, but that we were destined to live in the beauty of Paradise, where we constantly experience the calming, life-giving atmosphere of nature.
